• Acted for a Swiss bank in enforcement proceedings in UK against a businessman and his associated oil trading companies to recover over US$5million.
• Represented a major provider of specialised maritime security services in a High Court litigation claiming damages from an oil and gas exploration company for termination of a security services agreement in respect of services in the Kurdistan region of Iraq.
• Acted on behalf of a large Mongolian mining company in LCIA arbitrations and a High Court matter to defend multi-million dollar claims commenced by a bank.
• Assisted on a major High Court case brought by the biggest Russian shipowner against, among others, a Russian businessman and various companies under his control and former directors of the claimant companies for commercial bribery, conspiracy to defraud, and breach of fiduciary duties (Fiona Trust & Holding v Privalov [2010] EWHC 3199 (Comm)).
• Acted for a US aircraft finance company in a Commercial Court dispute with London underwriters pursue an indemnity under airline hull, spares and liability insurance policies following the financed aircrafts becoming a total loss (claims in excess of US$100 million).
